Apartment in Eidfjord, Hardanger fjords

ABOUT THE PLACE:

This is a basement apartment with own entrance and is very private. You will be having the whole place to yourselves.

We also rent out the adjacent house,  but no need to worry as you both have your own entrance/main doors. You may not even notice the other guests as you are facing two different sides of the house.

Once you booked the place, you will get complete privacy. And as your host does not live in the premises, there is no free breakfast. But the kitchen is equipped for cooking so you can prepare your meals with ease. Just bring all the needed ingredients for your menu.

Might share with the other guests from my other listing. But the driveway is large enough to accommodate 3-4 cars. And we also have another space in front of the house where you can park your car without sharing with anyone.

Guests will have access to everything inside the apartment.
You have your:

~livingroom
~bathroom (heated floors)
~bedroom
~dining area
~and a fully-functional kitchen with utensils, pots and pans, refrigerator, coffemaker and a microwave.

BEDROOM: (IMPORTANT!)

The whole bedroom is yours.
There is a double bed and a bunk bed in the bedroom.

If you are only paying for 1-2 persons, the third bed will not be made available (no bed linens and beddings in it).

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The neighborhood is very peaceful and private :-).

This is a nice and safe neighborhood so your stay is guaranteed relaxed and private!

Just be aware that Eidfjord is a small town with only 2 grocery stores, a gasoline station with grocery, a few souvenier stores, a convenience store and 1 foodtrailer which sells Asian/Thailand foods. And they often closes at 18:00 (6 o'clock in the evening).

So I advice you to bring your own food or buy already from other towns especially if you are arriving late in the evening.

If you prefer to dine out, Eidfjord has nice hotels with restaurants that can offer you great dining experience. The availability however varies from time to time.

No grocery stores open on Sundays and in holidays

We are only 16 minutes drive to the VØRINGSFOSSEN WATERFALL and only 10 minutes to the wild and spectacular MÅBØDALEN CANYON.
About 40 minutes to the HARDANGERVIDDA NATIONALPARK

National Tourist Route Hardangervidda:

in these 67 km long route you will pass the largest high mountain plateau in Northern Europe, the Vøringsfossen waterfall, Måbødalen canyon and the majestic fjord landscape. The trail from 1872 take hikers into the bottom of the Vøringsfossen waterfall. A visit to Hardangervidda Nature Centre is also recommended, there are excellent exhibitions, an impressive panoramic film and a good restaurant.
